A kill is no longer credited to the pilot who shoots an enemy mech and causes a secondary explosion by hitting ammo. This is since March 5 patch, but can't tell if it is intermittent or constant.

I have noticed this at least once - however in most cases it does seem to work properly.
Killed side torso -> ammo explosion 'pop' -> mech falls over -> no kill credit pop up, no credit for kill on end game screen. Not certain if it is not present in the stats afterwards on my profile.
Additionally, it didn't even state 'Monky has killed' where it normally does if a disconnected player is killed.

The message doesn't always come up... so I guess the ammo explosion is a legit reason.
The previous message of "Player has killed (disconnected player's name)" was "fixed" recently.

The message isn't coming up and the kill isn't credited.

I just witnessed this. Ammo explosion took out a stalker, not the atlas hammering it.

Can a developer comment on this change? Is this WAD or a new bug?

Next time it happens see if you can submit a bug report. I'll try to flag this in the meantime.

It is happening everytime an enemy dies to an ammo explosion, several times per hour of play. How do you submit a bug report again? Been ages since I did one (in closed beta).

Now that I've seen it, I can't unsee it. I've been having this happen to me quite a bit now, and it's ******* me off.
