it appears to me that the Devs are focusing on new toys for us to spend cash on rather than fixing the basic flaws the Jeagermech is an example. another gunmech...how many of those do we alraedy have? isn't the cataphreact basically what the jeagermech is likely to be? it's likely to look like the Jeaeger in MWT a bend of Cat and Cata. yawn
the only way I see to encourage them to get it right is to stop spending cash. it is in fact the only leverage we have over the suits who rule the developement.
I want to play Battletech/Mechwarrior , not zoom srm warrior.
MW4 was not a perfect game but as it stands this game isn't even in the same class.
fix the heat.. fix the weapons
fix the armour to reflect the faster moving 360degree nature of the game over the standard.
fix the movement physics. (a mech pulling tight turns at high speeds on pavement Talus or in wated should be faling down regularly. Mechs without hands cannot climb steep slopes./mechs with hands "CAN")
one simple fix would be to correct the relative size of the mechs. Basic math tells us that ifyou halve one dimension of an object keeping the other dimensions proportionate the volume (And by asociation mass is 1/8th so if you take an atlas reduce it to ten meters height it volume/mass would be 12.5 toms. commandos, jenners and ravens are currently smaller than an atlases leg. (The cicada appears to be twice the size of the jenner while being five tons heavier.)
fix this and some of the imbalance in light mechs can be fixed.
And god please fix the "STUPID" hardpoints. they Don't balance the game. they are an utter failure. and make no sense.
Personally I think starting this game in 3049 was a terrible error. it added overly complicated systems to a game whos basic systems don't work starting in 3025 or so would have simplified the game while allowing you to work on the basics.
in summation stop spending cash!God I hate being right. the Jeager is nothing but a Cat in another skin except it can "Boat Ballisitcs which are already unbalanced.
