Hey hey. I'm looking for a centurion build I can use for effectively engaging light mechs. Right now I have a CN9-A and CN9-AL that I can work with. Running around as a medium SRM boat is fun, but I find a number of times that when there are 2-3 enemy light mechs running around they can make a royal mess.

2-3 light mechs could be a royal mess for ANY mech, and if any of them has ECM, it wouldn't make that much of a difference if you just stand there and wait for being cored.
My anti-light build is Centurion 9A with XL250 (should be 255 now), 1xLBX10, 2xML and 3xSSRM2. Which is still shabby against ECM lights.

3-LPLasers and a XL 275 doing the Job for me. Well not vs. 3 Ligths at once,

CN9-A
STD 260
3x Artemis SRM-6
2x ML
Get up in their face and let 18 SRMs take care of them. ECM is not a factor.
CN9-AL
STD 200
2x LL
2x SSRM-2
2x ML
Dual LLs make short work of any light now that state rewind lets you actually hit them. Streak away if there's no ECM.
CN9-D
XL 300
LB-10X
2x SSRM-2
2x ML
Get up in their face and spam your LB-10X+ML, use Streaks if ECM permits.
