A wise man once said that the best balm for a swollen ego is to berate those whom one see as of a lesser worth...
So why do we not all do that... all the time... Just heap venom on people and try to break them as quick as we can... Because that will create a wonderful community and be a beacon for others to flock too.
Oh wait... .. . Since this is not bizzaroverse let's try to avoid that kind of behaviour on the public forums at least... You can be as much of foul little twit as you want... But do keep it to private forums where the rest of civilized community at least can ignore you in peace

So it is your belief that only people of Indian decent are members of this "Hive" thing? No! Well then that picture is a racist based slander and should be pulled. Otherwise put yourself in the picture so we can see how the "real players" apparently play.
It is hard to show the entire range of a group of people when just one picture is shown.
Would you have made the same comment if it was a caucasian person depicted?
Please keep your racist thoughts to yourself and try to stop attempting to place such thoughts into the minds of others. IMO you're the only racist person in this thread and are just drawing attention to your own short comings.

I am likewise simultaneously confused and amused. Is this steering wheel underhive concept native to MW:O?
It's a term I believe coined by Vassago, if not his by invention he's certainly responsible for populising it.
In essence, it refers to people who elect to play MWO with a set of peripherals specifically selected to hamper their chances of victory. Whilst in the literal this is actually steering wheels, it's also inclusive of other self-hampering peripherals such as partial or full HOTAS, Touchscreens and Pyschokinetic Powers.
The concept is applied to a pyramidal representation of the MWO pseudo-social strata designed by Vassago, posted on the previous page and replicated at the end of this post. This is in essence a diagrammatic of the 'tiers' of players Vassago predicted forming under the Elo matchmaking system, the peripheral-based self-harmers (Steering Wheel Underhivers) are displayed at the bottom of the diagrammatic due to the insurmountable penalty to their Large Stompy Robot Piloting abilities by the hardware limitations they have imposed upon themselves.

MG's, Flamers, NARC, and LB-X are in the low ELO Land Fill as well.

This was incredibly helpful, if a bit amusing in and of itself (I assume this was your intention).
I can now say that I "Get It". [insert hearty guffaw]

I have moved this thread to off-topic, as it seems to be more of a meta-discussion than actually about MWO.
But... the guy is in a bus piloting his mech with a steering wheel and you can clearly see he is in MWO with a Catapult K2 and a Atlas in the background!
