is there any way to add even a low level of AI into the mechs there? playing against something that is at least as good as the noobs is a better test of your mechs than running around and shooting static targets up till you destroy them all... and sadly, that is going to be the best place for new players to learn about controls than in game... unless you count the mauling we nubs get... can you vets smell us out there, really?

Please better training options...

Yes, even as they don't fire back, they should at least move. It's not really a test to practice firing on a standing Jenner.
