The flaw in your logic is that there is an off-topic forum specifically made for people to badpost their ****** memegenerator pics. This is the Discussion Forum where things are discussed, not r/funny.

So here's how you do it. See the Green Button I marked with a red circle? That you need to click. Insert an url of a picture you want to insert.


You cannot use normal copy & paste of images, you need the link of an image.
For memes, you can use services like quickmeme.com or memegenerator.com.

The challenge with quickmeme is that it hides away the image url. In Firefox, you can get the link directly by using the context menu and opening the graphics info and select the right image.

You can also construct the image url yourself from the quicklink. Example:
Quicklink: http://qkme.me/3tfht8
Image Url: http://i.qkme.me/3tfht8.jpg
(I just added the "i." in front of "qkm", and the ".jpg")
MemeGenerator.net is easier, just right-click and copy the image url. Memegenerator unfortunately also tends to have connection issues, leading to a lot of "Posted Image" entries in our memethread.

To link other types of images made by yourself, you will need an online service like photobucket or imageshack. Maybe even Flickr will work (not sure if they allow direct links to images.)

The A1 is broken... if you see them early enough to shoot off the ears from a distance.

Doesn't work on quickmeme. They have some fake image in front of it.


Works everywhere else usually, however.
