(assuming the problem isnt on my end which i doubt since this is only game the problem exists)

can we PLEASE for the love of god get it so holding backspace when chatting will act as if you continually hit backspace. Instead of having to hit it once for every single character you want to delete.

Its hard enough to quickly get out warnings and info to your team, but if you screw up and type something wrong.... also if your in middle of typing and have a light come charge you in the face by time you delete what you said your dead.

Can we just get a key combo that closes the chat box no matter what's typed? Or maybe a key mapping for it?

Yes please, it's super annoying to not be able to jump out of the chat window when you have just written some stuff.
