Having being a victim of having one of my threads, which I thought at first was an intelligent discussion, only to have it go to K-Town and be ridiculed by people who made me out to be a complete **** and anything I had to say after that to try and redeem the topic only to have it crapped on by people...

Don't make threads strictly with the intent to insult/troll/flame war and maybe it won't get jettisoned. If you do, then you should have put it in K town to start with. The General index is not your dumping ground.
