Of course you like it, that's the point. Who would say "Oh, I suddenly have a lower heat – what a bad feature!"? The problem is that it dumbs down heat management and encourages boating and reckless alphaing without second thoughts to the consequences. Because thanks to Coolant Flush, there ARE no consequences. At least less than before.

Are we being a bit over dramatic perhaps. It is a 1 use item, 2 (holy smokes 2) for a lot of C-Bills. I put one on my 4LL, 1ML Stalker, just for ***** and giggles, for when the new Map came up. I pretty much always forgot to use it. Then again I run an heat efficient build, am not trigger happy and when Betty starts ragging on me, I chill. (pun intended)

I laughed at myself for when I finally did use it, I forgot to actually look and see how much (extra) Heat was bled off so now I have to buy another to see. LOL :)

P.S. Drama Class is in room 911

I bought it and used it a few times. Because it's one shot per match, it's practically useless. Given that you have to go and manually re-equip it after each match, it's inconvenient as well. If they really want my 15 MC, they will just have a pop up window asking me if I want to refill it without me having to back into the mechlab to manually re-equip it. But really, I wish it could be used at least a few times per match. Once per match just isn't worth the hassle.

Gee, if only there was a weapon that could target critical spaces, and take Coolant Flush out before it was used...

The only real reason you need Coolant Flush is to keep your cheese from going bad...

Coolant flush is unnecessary for my LRM Cat :P

On an more serious note, idk if I've even seen anyone using it and plenty of people seem unaware of it's existence. Does it by chance make a mech produce a slight steam cloud when activated?

But some cheese is fun every once in a while. MWO gets pretty bland without it.

A world without cheese is less of a world. Contemplate that.

Toilet flush is great for those who fail at heat management.

Does RedDragon know that players can only flush twice per game?

I wonder what weapon system he uses which requires his other worldly heat management? In b4 LRM.

Wrong, coolant flush is most useful in the hands of a pilot who is great at heat management.

I've only used it on the new map and Caustic. Other than that it has been a waste of a slot on my ERPPC cat.

Heat management will get you better results than coolant flush.

if he is great at heat management he wouldn't need the coolant flush.

I fail to see how someone whos good at heat management can't benefit from coolant flush too?

Someone who's good at heat management would normally retreat behind cover or fire only half their weapons to cool down. So while they might not need coolant flush to prevent themselves from overheating, it doesn't mean they also can't benefit from it to do extra DPS in certain situations.

I mean sometimes you're in a 1v1 fight where both mechs are badly cored and if you could alphastrike just one more time without shutting down, you'd win... so I could see coolant flush making all the difference there. It's situational, sure, but not entirely useless.
