I feel bad killing teammates, it seems when a fellow teammate was nice and tight with a raven next to a LRM target when I sent in 30 LRMS the teammate got splashed damaged killed. That is not ok.

As LRM boat CTLT-C1 a can say LRM overpowered now and need fix.
I love LRMs its normal then 2-3 lrm boat in match but not 5-6, it's boring.

P.S. Last match i destroed both LEGS to trebuchet, from 3 valleys 15*2+Art, lol.

Quite simply, before patch the LRM's felt like they works right. if I got myself in the open, like an *****, i would take 3 or 4 volleys and be dead. If I was lucky I could escape and only loose an arm and maybe shoulder, but I was almost dead. If there was someone good, or with a good spotter they could still rip into your team and be a huge support.

An LRM is a support weapon, not a direct assault weapon. My Atlas with ECM and two(2) AMS should be able to fend off a volley with a few dings, not loose half my body or die.

If you don't think this is a problem then you just like to exploit bugs.

Yeah, I'm done until the patch to fix this. Everyone is exploiting the bug and just taking as many LRM's as they can cram into their mechs. This isn't what I signed up for.

Just did over 1300 DMG in my JM6 with 2x UAC/5 + 4x SRM4 and with 6 tons and 2 tons of ammo respectively.

The match was long enough that i spent all ammo except 2 single SRM missiles were left at the end of the match (my last UAC shot killed the last enemy).

Theoretically my max. DMG with that setup is: 150*5 + 200*2.5 = 1250 DMG.
My weapon stats are ~50% accuracy for both the UAC and SRM4.

So it seems like the SRMs are doing more than twice if not triple the damage.

The only chance of beating a lrm boat now is boating PPCs of your own. Boat this, boat that. Is this boat warrior or what? Show some imagination and fix this problem immediately.

Anyone remember the days when LRMs tracked without a lock after launching them? This guy would have just had a fit! I agree that LRMs rip people open, but a lot of people who use LRMs also mount lots of LRMs.

I've seen lrm/srm/med laser stalker pretty much one shotting anything under 65 tons, and 2 shotting everything over. srms are definitely borked too.

I agree, but I'm definitely feeling the frustration that Raptorak expressed.

Missle damage is definitely "borked". I took out my Stalker 3F with 4 LRMx15 with Artemis build and was amazed at the results. Until this patch, the damage would be maybe 400-500 and 1-2 kills because the ECM was so common. But now I catch a mech in the open without ECM and they die by the second volley from decapitation. Seems LRMs do so much splash damage they blow the head of any targeted mech by my second salvo. Had rounds with 1200+ damage and 5+ kills, almost too easy . . .

My point is that with 2 x LRM20's and 2 x LRM5's i did a large amount of damage (1790), whereas before the latest patch i would struggle to do this much....

For what its worth, they had 3 ECM mechs (i have tag) and i was on the front line. Their DDC with 3xLRM15's had me targeted most of the match but i used cover effectively. And i have 3 med lasers too, so i can defend myself somewhat. STK-3H - 2xALRM20's, 2xALRM5's, 3xMLAS, 1xTAG, 8 Tonne LRM ammo

I didnt make the post just to brag about damage, but to highlight how ridiculous lrms are right now.

Anyway, lrms need a nerf/fix/whatever. Until then, its LRMPOCALYPSE 2013!

This LRM madness is both amusing and irritating, two sides of one coin. My impression after a few matches ended up being something like "Holy crap? Did I slip back into november's LRM online?"

The patch seems to have dones something that looks like a complete logical fallacy: "We fixed that splash damage wasn't working right on legs. So we made the broken splash damage work properly broken, and aimed it directly at everyone's legs just to test it."

as a fan of statistics i log my daily MWO stats to an execl sheet
so by detraction my yesterday results:
LRM 15 - 458 HIT - 1221 Damage = 2,666 Damage/Missile
SSRM2 - 58 HIT - 229 Damage = 3,948 Damage/Missile

think it says it all

i bet u use only lrm and you have not yet explored the maps yourself

Have you actually seen how long it takes missiles to reach a target at max range?

You could finish your cup of tea before having to deal with them, even in alpine.

So yes, it is embarrassing if you get hit by them.

I chose to play with stalkers mechs equipped with lasers those days. (i like direct fire wpeaons)
Before this patch it was deadly. Now it's just useless.

i get head blasted almost evry time with lrm (it never happened before).
i have max armor EVERYWHERE + ams

72 leg armor and get legged easly ? wdf ?
being dead with 2 or 3 15lrm fire ?!


Clearly there is something wrong with lrm that need to be fix ASAP.
