Hitting the "delete" key does nothing. Yes, I have the coolant pods equipped. When I look under "options" there is no listing for the coolant pod fire button. I have been informed that the button selection line should be between toggle cockpit item and global chat, but it is not there.
Any suggestions?

No, I was doing it right. The delete key did nothing, and there was no option to set the key to make the coolant pod work.
However, a uninstall and reinstall has corrected the issue.
