PGI, I feel screwed up in the beginning with MWO. 2 points I'm trying to make.
#1, PGI should have released a full game with all mechs for 3050. They should have had patch updates with mechs and weapons for each progressive year while adding maps, fixes, and balancing on a monthly or bi-weekly basis.
#2, Instead of being able to purchase mechs with Cbills, and have to buy 3 variants to level them up. They should have charged us MC to buy a mech variant, they should have allowed us to level that one variant all the way up with XP without having to buy 2 others to do it. Then if you wanted to buy another mech you'd have to us MC to purchase another chassis. They'd make money and we'd be happy without the extra grind.
Right about now I hear all the groaning. So if we all had to buy our mechs with MC it would have reduced the flood of cheese on the field, it likely would have reduced the flood of ECM mechs in the beginning too. We wouldn't have mechs we don't use but refuse to get rid of as they are a sizable investment in time and Cbills. I'd rather have spent my $60 for my founders 4G and leveled it up, bought my A1 and my 1X with MC then to spend countless days grinding variants I don't really like that much.

#1: then the game would either have been released in 2016 or 2017, or they would not have made the game at all for lack of money.
#2. so you don't like "free to play"?

#1. At least it would be a finished polished product.
#2. All previous forms of MW were a purchase and free to play online. I guess you're to young to remember when people would go to the store and buy a game, drive home and install the game, then go online and play it for free until the game fizzled out of existence.

#1 : It would never have been made, as the devs have stated they could not find a financier to support a game of the type you desire.
#2: I dont like free to play either, but it has many more people available to play against this way. Also, box games you pay for are NEVER updated or balanced after that. Did you enjoy the lasers from mw4 allowing poptarts to own all online games? I didnt.
Your ideas are BAD.
