This is also applicable to MMO games, either freemium or subscriber based.
What struck me especially was that colors bit.
We can't change colors on our frigging mechs without paying for it.
Not a single color. Nothing.
Atleast they could have a basic color palette and make us pay for the "complex ones" - atleast then we'd have the illusion it's worth it. But i'm NEVER EVER paying for basic colors.
Seriously, how stupid do game companies think gamers are? (Don't answer that, heh)
And seeing I have to pay for it in the game, makes me think three times before using ANY extra money now, because i wonder how much are they really trying to screw me over.
Is there any real value for me in item X?
