If you like and need to continue reading player-chat in the text bar/area, no problem, fine, nothing's going to change for you.

If you would like to clear the in-game player-text from your screen, as you neither need to read the few useful comms about tactics or strategy; and you don't enjoy the insults, taunting, panic-screaming and occassional racist or homophobic rants, let us flip a switch in options to turn it off.

For all that is great and holy in the universe, permit us to play MWO in peace and quiet.

If we get lonely, we can always turn the in-game player-text back on, at our own risk.
