Fellow Capellans! We will fear the Fox no longer! The Prefectorate Guard is now forming. We anticipate that our website will be up early next week. Right now we are assembling CCAF-related content to fill the site and establish that unique Capellan flavor! Our website will familiarize new players with House Liao's rich history and show the Inner Sphere what it truly means to earn citizenship in the Confederation!

If you are interested in joining please watch this thread for more information.

As information is currently limited as to exactly what the "guild/group" specifics will be in MWO, we are currently just organizing. We plan to be an active "guild/clan" and will take full advantage of teamspeak/vent to bring defeat to those Davion dogs!

Flavor text:

The traitor Justin Xiang’s sabotage of the Confederation to our great enemy Hanse Davion at the start of the Fourth Succession was among the darkest days of the CCAF. His betrayal struck at the core of the realm. Not only did the Confederation lose more than half our worlds to the hated Federated Suns, but moreover we learned that the Fox’s hidden agents yet lurked at all levels of the CCAF. If the hated Federated Commonwealth was left unchecked, it threatened to consume the whole of our Confederation.

In her infinite wisdom, Chancellor Romano Liao began a series of secret reforms designed to ferret out the remaining traitors in our ranks and feed misinformation to our adversary. The Chancellor watched intently as our ally the Draconis Combine beat back the resurgent Davion imperialism of 3039.

Theodore Kurita’s reforms and advanced technologies first ground the Federated Suns’ invasion to a standstill and then followed their adversary to his home, reclaiming many Kurita worlds lost to the Fox in the Fourth Succession War. Using Kurita’s reforms as a model, the Chancellor put new effort into recovering lostech and equipping our best units with these new technologies.

The wisdom of Kurita’s establishment of secret “ghost” regiments unknown to the enemy was self-evident, especially in light of Xiang’s leak of the Confederation’s complete Table of Organization and Equipment to the Fox at the start of the Fourth Succession War. The famous Capellan Hussars, headquartered on Sian, were the perfect choice for the Chancellor’s experiment.

The Capellan Hussars, traditionally comprised of three regiments, had been left under-strength following the destruction of the Prefectorate Guard at the hands of the Defenders of Andurien on Betelguese in 3032. Chancellor Liao wisely reconstituted the unit in secret, equipped it with best lostech available and assigned her most loyal battlefield commanders. This unit would not be included on any deployment table and would thus remain hidden to the eyes of the Federated Suns. The Prefectorate Guard will operate clandestinely to engage the Fox by surprise at the Capellan Confederation’s time and choosing.

Currently, we have eight confirmed folks via the website, but I anticipate more in the coming weeks and after launch. Our goal is to get enough folks to run a seasoned 12 spot. If we go way over that, heck, the more the merrier! All of us so far are playing in EST. Feel free to visit the website at mwopg.com. We can address more in depth questions there! We got a couple open message boards u can post to!

Liberalism is extremely harmful in a revolutionary collective. It is a corrosive which eats away unity, undermines cohesion, causes apathy and creates dissension. It robs the revolutionary ranks of compact organization and strict discipline, prevents policies from being carried through and alienates the Party organizations from the masses which the Party leads. It is an extremely bad tendency

Ken, I didn't think Latin was a core language of the Confederation? Tell me you were not educated at some prestigous Davion Academy!

The Confederation has an extensive public education system, which allows the people to indulge in the occasional study of history or dead languages. As opposed to the Federated Suns, whose only "prestigious academy" is a training ground for inbred nobles to learn how to read the HUD of a battlemech, and whose people are otherwise barefoot, illiterate and savagely oppressed.
