Based on experience and comments I have read.

Suggested Map Changes

Tourmaline Desert
Haven't tried in a match but from what others are saying, if the south team with their base in G3 has an advantage, then consider relocating the 2 Assault bases to the Kappa (D3) and Epsilon (G7) points from Counquest.

River City
Shift Kappa (D2) to C3, C4 or D3.
Shift Epsilon (I9) to H8 or I8.
This moves these points away from map edges giving more room to maneuver around the points during battle.
Also based on Sigma having few approach points due to location, consider using Kappa and Epsilon as starting points for Assault.

River City Night
Change to a Dusk/Dawn map or at least turn on the city lights, streetlights, etc.

Alpine Peaks
Comments on how Gamma point has few avenues of approach due to mountains compared to Sigma, perhaps relocate main bases to Epsilon and Theta.

rivercity the spawns are too close together, and the northern base still enjoys a slight hieght and cover advantage.

Primarily all the old maps are too small, and though they need not be as big as alpine, increasing their size by 25-50% would be nice.

Out of bounds borders on rivercity day and night are both ridiculously tight to the map, and the same on forest colony snow.

IMHO PGI is using too close in borders to "balance" matches, when instead these borders should be inaccessible walls/mountains/water instead of arbitray "warning, out of bounds" on tiny maps. It is really sucky to get "Warnings" when trying to simple reach 3 line upper city from the southern base on river city, because PGI didnt want people sniping from the hill down onto the northern base.

I really hope the small maps all get a little expansion/better and more immersive borders.

on a side note a 30 second warning out of bounds timer might still be called for, or at least 15 seconds.
