We are currently assessing the increase in LRM/SSRM/SRM damage currently on the live production servers. Expect an official response later today. A hot fix is likely this week.

So this was posted at 8:17 PST, so when you guys basically came into work.

I want to know how this went.

8:05, Bryan arrives. "Hey Paul, have a good night? Wonder how everyone is enjoying that new map and the badass Jaeger?"
Paul: "I don't know, let's check..."

8:10: Computers logged on, forums opened. "Huh...a thread about LRMmaggedon. Well, we've seen these kinds of things before...

8:15: Emergency staff meeting called

Could we be expecting missile splash damage to be removed earlier than normal instead of April 2nd patch day?

If there is a true MechWarrior God, we can. :)

The Streak and SRM issues is beyond brutal. One can attempt to hide from LRM's, but SRM's and Streaks, not so much.

One more thing I propose though. Have some sort of skill involved in Streaks & LRMs. For example. For every shot taken, make a re-lock feature. That way we don't have unskilled trigger happy pilots holding down that fire button.

Thank you for a quick acknowledgement of this issue. I realize you guys have a lot to work on, but I feel like the most important thing for the community is getting quick responses from you guys, so we know you're paying attention.

Good. Missiles have been a little too potent for their skill requirement for some time. I say this from personal experience as an LRM boat in a group with only 1 other player.

sound like ECM

The fast response bodes well for the communication between the dev team and players. =)

Any statement on the horribly broken JagerMech headboxes though?

Would love to hear something on the jager head, but I do think most of it is from the raining that has been going on.

But I do feel that the headbox on the jager is a bit bigger than it should be.

It's not just the LRMs. I can headshot any Mech that is standing still, but the JagerMech is the only Mech I can headshot while both the target and myself are running at full speed. And I'm using Pulse Lasers only.

Then yes, that's a problem.

Kinda reminds you of the Cataphrat days.

Have had too many headshots connect on my jager while on the move from 1000m+ away.
