So, until my Jager, I never bother with MGs on any mech. I tossed a pair on my LRM boat so I have something to do when missiles run out.

Checked out my weapon stats today and, um...




I'm accurate, but I'm not that accurate!

There must be some kind of bug in machine gun reporting.

I think whats most depressing is... with 782 hits... i've done 25 damage total! Are machine guns really THAT bad!

Unless you are shooting at the squishy bits.....yes.

Yes, machine guns are bad. They are doing well when fired on missing armor parts.

I personally use it for measuring purpose, for ER PPC and Gauss rifle.

Yes, yes they are that bad. And you should feel bad for using them.

I use mine to exploit exposed internals and help keeps my other weapons on target. If the MG stops hitting I do not fire my bigger weapons until it is back on target.
