press F9
write down the coordinates you see in the upper left corner and send them to the devs using support@mwomercs.com
You need to realize this is a beta and we are there to find this stuff and not to expect a fullyfledged perfect game.

In particular, the weird crystaline formations offer some crazy differences in height that can be exploited. For instance, last night I walked up one of them so that I was a good 200m above ground level, and then headshotted a catapult from almost directly above him with AC20's. I'm pretty sure he had absolutely no idea I was there.

Those would be tourmaline crystals, http://en.m.wikipedi...wiki/Tourmaline , hence the name of the map. I only had the map once and it ran fine, in fact my side won.

Kill the game on Task Manager, then reboot, update your video card drivers and reinstall MWO.

also you need the map grid code. i tried sending in the coordinates after getting stuck for the 3rd time on alpine. support rep said the devs would not even accept it with out the grid code. apparently they are not very good with numbers or something...

gridcode? Like E5 and so on?
are you kidding me? The gridcode is nothing else than a simplification of the coordinates...sorry, but do they hire monkeys?

It adds (when things go as planned) a lot more strategy to the fight and everyone gets a chance to play their role. Some maps are not the best for LRMs for instance and I'm not saying that I use them because of some apparent cheapness in the current LRM stats ?!
Mind you, I'm posting on a game that I haven't played since last October I'm a little hyped over all the changes they have made since then and I'm also not burned out on the lack of content...that makes a big difference

Also, the crystals embedded in the ground in a desert map REALLY remind me of the Crystal Desert of MW2: Mercs. Brought back so many memories...

I just hit F9 and take a screenshot, then email that to them. Never had a request for more info.

But...but but... If I do that, I miss out on the fun of voicing my dislike of the map and completely fail at providing any usable beta support by giving the Devs any viable feedback information!
