Currently minimized as I sit, stuck in the ground, completely unable to free myself after 2 minutes of trying.

Super weak.

screenshot it and email it to support@mwomercs.com - gets a good response because they forward it straight to the devs.

sigh...

press F9
write down the coordinates you see in the upper left corner and send them to the devs using support@mwomercs.com

You need to realize this is a beta and we are there to find this stuff and not to expect a fullyfledged perfect game.

Personally, I liked some of the novel aspects of Tourmaline.

In particular, the weird crystaline formations offer some crazy differences in height that can be exploited. For instance, last night I walked up one of them so that I was a good 200m above ground level, and then headshotted a catapult from almost directly above him with AC20's. I'm pretty sure he had absolutely no idea I was there.

Those would be tourmaline crystals, http://en.m.wikipedi...wiki/Tourmaline , hence the name of the map. I only had the map once and it ran fine, in fact my side won.

Kill the game on Task Manager, then reboot, update your video card drivers and reinstall MWO.

Caustic used to be like this long time ago. Just take a screen shot with the F9 on. Send it to support. It should be fixed shortly. I used to try and get myself stuck in the same place a few patches later, and sure enough, the spot was fixed.

also you need the map grid code. i tried sending in the coordinates after getting stuck for the 3rd time on alpine. support rep said the devs would not even accept it with out the grid code. apparently they are not very good with numbers or something...

gridcode? Like E5 and so on?

are you kidding me? The gridcode is nothing else than a simplification of the coordinates...sorry, but do they hire monkeys?

Must comment On your remark about the new map being boring. I must politely disagree Yes, I will agree I have had a couple match's where one team went one way and the other went the opposite and we lost to a base capture without ever seeing anyone within 5 minutes....yes that sucked but those rare instances aside, I love the map, matter of fact I hope they continue to build many more large scale maps.

It adds (when things go as planned) a lot more strategy to the fight and everyone gets a chance to play their role. Some maps are not the best for LRMs for instance and I'm not saying that I use them because of some apparent cheapness in the current LRM stats ?!

Mind you, I'm posting on a game that I haven't played since last October I'm a little hyped over all the changes they have made since then and I'm also not burned out on the lack of content...that makes a big difference :)

Yeah, apart from being awesome, this map can still have some minor issues the first day after release...

I like how the crystal formations and open spaces create ways for both long and short ranged users to fight. Alpine is a case of if you're short ranged you die, and River City is a case of if you're long ranged you die.

Also, the crystals embedded in the ground in a desert map REALLY remind me of the Crystal Desert of MW2: Mercs. Brought back so many memories...

I got the new map once last night... And I really like it! It seems like the most unique and really, the only alien looking map. I think the lack of interesting new places to fight is about the worst thing right now. I don't feel like any of the balance issues are too glaring, but I've just been getting bored. I stopped for two weeks and played the Witcher 2... twice. It's getting harder and harder to get back in and play the same 4 or 5 maps over and over..

I just hit F9 and take a screenshot, then email that to them. Never had a request for more info.

But...but but... If I do that, I miss out on the fun of voicing my dislike of the map and completely fail at providing any usable beta support by giving the Devs any viable feedback information! :)

Personally, I like the map. Keep in mind it's basically designed for 12v12 and has a lot of strategic options in it.

I'm sorry you got stuck, as others have said press F9 and take a screenshot then submit it. So far I've yet to get stuck...
