You, do know you could just download Mechwarrior 4: Mercernaries, with MekTek's enhancements from www.mektek.net, and that it's completely legal right? Also Mechwarrior: Living Legends never came on a CD, you have to have Crysis Wars, then download the mod at Mechlivinglegends.net...

I've always tried to get into that game... on paper, it's the perfect game for me. But, it's too heavily reliant on you being in a corp to be successful. Solo players don't tend to do well in that game. In my case, there just aren't any corps from my region.

If you don't mind the older graphics and engine, I personally recommend Tribes: Next over T:A. It was done so much better than T:A IMO, and still has people playing.
