So I had to repair windows to earlier backup some time back. After repairing windows the patcher did some repairing to MWO too but one map was left broken in the process. No big deal I thought, patch is coming soon so the patcher will probably repair the broken map with the rest of the changes. So came the patch and the patcher didnt repair the map. Is there any other way to repair the game aside from the patcher doing it automaticly?

That sounds like a software issue due the the windows recovery console. The map file probably became corrupt in the process of restoration or the link for the file was damaged. To resolve this issue the easiest and most tome consuming solution would be to redownload the game and install it. That's typically a last ditch effort, but recalling how Windows Recovery Console removed all traces of my video drivers and installed programs it wouldn't surprise me if that happened.

Well Im better off without one map than reinstalling the game. With all the people deliberately braking their mapfiles, this game should run regular fixes to broken maps.

I don't necessarily agree with that, as it would consume more resources on the local side of the game as well as additional storage space. It would also require more resources to be invested into the game and have new, possibly buggy/conflicting features added to the game. If you ask me personally they need an option in the options menu of the launcher to redownload all map files as a type of repair install or manually create a local backup of the map file yourself. Which reminds me, why didn't you backup your original install of the game before and after the latest update? :P
