No, this isn't about how they are over/underpowered or whatever, I think they're in a good place balance wise.

But a nice function for UAC5s would be that holding the fire button down fires them on normal cooldown (1.1s), but double tapping causes them to, uh, double tap. Obviously you can already modulate the fire rate yourself by timing it with their cooldown, but this might be a nice quality of life change.

If nothing else, the sheer number of people who run time-delay macros on their mice to simulate this means it should be put in. You always want to minimise the advantage gained by stuff like that.

Maybe - to me they seem like a bonus to ppl prepared to program their control device so they don't jam.

For everyone else, meh.

i tried to do that but it doesn't work in-game. in the mouse simulator thing, it does fire weapon group 5 every 1.101s though in-game the weapon group doesn't fire at all. maybe they implemented an anti-anti-jam thingy.

this is how ti should work in my eyes. but this would require them also fixing (at least fixing in my eyes) how they set up the uac5's. IE in TT a single shot of uac5 means no jamming possible its a ac5 at that point for all intensive purposes. In our game it can jam on the first shot, ie nothing fires on first click. If they made that change then this would be a amazing weapon. use it as a ac5 that cost you more in tonnage to take. then you are in a good shot moment, get the uac5 part going and risk a a jam.
