At first the patcher acted as if I were trying to close it (it said something along the lines of "You are trying to close the patcher while its working, this could bork the install") and when I indicated that no, I didn't want to close the window, it refused to make any further progress in the patching process, so I decided to try patching again- same result. After a reset and a few more attempts, I decided to reinstall...

Then I was unable to start the game..... so I decided to reinstall again in a different directory, and now I can launch the game and log in but the graphics on certain screens are borked and the launch button does nothing for a while, then I CTD.

I emailed support, but in the meantime I am missing out on the land of milk and honey (the changes to lrms, allowing me to feed on the sweet, sweet tears of ECM ringbearers).

In all likelihood there will be a hotfix to nerf LRMs but no fix for ECMs for months and months, and I'll have completely missed the boat (U C WAT I DID THAR?)...

So uhh... thumbs down on the latest patch.
