The splash may need some tweaking, but please do not make LRM;s useless again.

That does not mean that you can ignore them like you use to, and even laugh at them like you have for months. LRM are now as deadly as a ac20, PPC, shot to the head one shot kills.. made this game total rubbish of pew pew pew in you face running around.

talk about cheese, that and the AIMBOTS, makes the splash damage less in the overall scheme of things.

LRM's should not be able to Headshot a mech.. I don't care if they have artemis or not. It just shouldn't happen.. I can't tell you how many times i've peeked over a hill to a face full of LRM fire and died. They are broken and should be fixed.

LRM's were never suppose to be a main weapon in any group.. they are a support weapon and should be tweaked as such.

Pug drops these days look like a f'n LRM-fest. You can't run forest colony in the water without taking 100+ lrms. They are used so often because they are OP and everyone knows it...


See, it actually takes skill to shoot someone in the head with PPC or a AC/20... LRMs take no skill whatsoever, so those people who are shooting folks in the head with ppc's actually have skills, unlike those that just sit back and wait for a lock...

People complained that lrms were hitting the CT too much so PGI spread out the damage. Now it can hit head.
Sorry, but if the dice roll 12 (I think that was the head, I dont remember) enough you lose the head

Here is a link to the Official Thread on the LRM Damage situation. That would be a good place for us to comment on what we think LRMs should be doing post-fix. I am gong to close this thread, as the Forum Staff have asked us to try and keep the LRM Damage discussions succinct so the Devs can weigh in on public opinion more easily.
