"The program cant start because XINPUT1_3 .dll is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program."

has anyone come across this error? i cant play the game and i am told to reinstall the game. would rather not need to reinstall.

Need to install latest dx9c to get all the necessary modules. Vista/7/8 comes with DX10/11 and a base dx9, but not all the updated files for dx9c.
