Ok, so I'll get this out of the way. I used to be a Snake. Well, a Space Viking in Snakes clothing. (MPBT Solaris: Chu-i Psycho, 8th Rassalhague Regulars) Since all of my kinsmen are either dead, not alive or both (by which I mean not playing MWO or I just haven't found them), I have decided to join the winning team and embrace my Celtic roots by joining (hopefully) the 5th Donegal Guards (Hell YES, Bulldogs!).

So, my first question I guess would be: How do I infultra...er...ingraciate myself to you Krauts without offending? Wait...you prefer Jerry's right? Not Krauts. Ok, I'll remember that.

Second, anybody have a guess how house units are gonna roll. I kknow they'll be commanded (as such) by PGI, but do you think we'll just Sign-up? Applications? Trials? Best guess?

House units are probably going to be available to players unlocking the more popular ones through faction points. If you want to be in a player made team (like clans/guilds) then join a Steiner aligned Mercenary Corp Unit.

You're welcome to play on the Steiner Teamspeak and find a couple different groups or just find one directly on this forum.

Ok. I've joined the Merc groups before and I like that option, but I want to fight for a major house unit. I don't know if anyone remembers MPBT: Solaris, and yes I know the Meta House Wars stuff was player driven, but I enjoyed the HELL out of fighting for the 8thRR (Crazy 8's). It felt like being in the DCMS and every game MMO I've played since has been an attempt to recapture that.

Also, if I'm a Jenner Jock mostly, do I have to wedge it into an Atlas Chassis for scouting, or what?

I like to pilot a raven 3L, yes, even before the implementation of the ECM. Also have 2 Trebuchets because I can easily fit an XL engine in and go 100KPH+ for flanking.

Also have a dragon.

Not all of us Lyrans use an Atlas. Just imagine you got your Jenner from that unlucky snake samurai that was dumb enough to fight you.
