Only 3050-Technical Readout mechs. The Bane is not part of the inital invasion and as such not part of this topic.

it has been around since 2827. it just wasn't seen in the Inner Sphere until Tukayyid.

Gauss Rifle is the only weapon that has the same damage and range ratings as its inner sphere counterpart, so that is the weapon you have to be least scared off ;)

But the Clan Gauss Rifle is lighter and smaller than the IS Gauss. That means Clan Mechs using them will either have more Gauss Rifles or more additional guns. Since the Gauss basically adds nothing to the heat level sof the mech but a lot ot its damage levles, the remaining weaponry will run into less heat problems.

Basically, in M:WO, all weapons produce about 2-3 times more damage and heat than they are expected to, and the mechs are designed for.

Two times the heat does not mean that a mech lasts only half as long. It can mean nothing (if the original mech produced 5 heat per turn and sinked 10, doubling the 5 stil lmeans its heat neutral. If it produced 20 heat and sinked 18, it now has a waste heat of 22 over 10 seconds, not of 2 as it used to have or 4 as you might naively expect - that means rapid overheating..).

Now, to be fair, this effect might also apply for other weapons that tend to be "low heat", like SRMs and all those Ultra-Cannons. But the Gauss is the strongest example.

You really cant limit to that one TRO since there are at least 3 in the 3055 and 3058 TROs that were in the invasion forces. Specifically the Huntsman, Ebon Jaguar, and Kingfisher.

@SMDMadCow

Really? I thought Canonwise we have TRO 3050 with the related novels. Then the whole After-Tukkayid Storyline with new Clanmechs. And the new readout where, when there was mentioned "took part in the invasion" it was just fluff, but they never appeared in the canon-stories before.

But I remember the TRO 3055 being full of mistakes. The artwork was also not the best, didn't they steal some designs - again?

@3rd World

But they will probably introduce the Omnis from the 3050-Readout first. Just a guess, but imo a realistic one.

Thr TRO fluff is canon, so if it said they were there then they were there. The TROs are also written from an in-universe perspective of either a Comstar, Wolfnet, or other military intel person, so changes can be made and be kosher b/c the fictional writer wouldnt/couldnt have known.

Warhawk Prime, or C.
4 ERPPC... with a targeting computer, which can only make it easier to hit with them.

Or the C, which swaps 2 ERPPC for 2 Large Pulses to deal with encircling lights after its sniping is done.
