I know it's a bug, but so does everyone else. Banning is too harsh, but I think people who exploit like this should lose their stats.

You are the only one who can see your stats currently. If you want to, with a dab of photoshop, you too can have the artificial stats of an lrm boater.

Having a few days of high damage due to 1 weapon being bugged isn't a big deal. Especially with talk of them being nerfed and in all honesty, there will probably be another "OP" weapon type soon. My only serious qualm with the LRM's atm is them being able to decapitate a mech without doing any damage to the rest of aforementioned mech.

It is when you ruin the game for everyone else who wants to play, and yes exploiting a known feature bug is called an "exploit" and is a bannable offense. Just because the exploit is particulalrly easy to abuse does not excuse the behaviour.

Me and three friends got on last night for a single match. We then went and played Planetside 2 because we all agreed the game was unplayable with the number of people who are abusing missiles. The behaviour is harmful to the community and should be discouraged.

I went out and LRM'ed like a mad man last night. It's not an exploit, it's a tactic.

Good luck with your new elo ranking when pgi fixes your "tactic". We'll probably see lots of each other now that this bug had gotten you out of the training wheels league. I look forward to our next encounter.

I came in #49 in the last tournament. May not have moved much at all...

To quote Haree78, I never went "full ******". It was during the 50% c-bill weekend, so Founder Cat and Atlas, Yen-Lo-Wang, and Flame. I mostly did the instant disconnect after being killed, flipped around a little to see what was working for me. I got a ton of assists in the Atlas and Cat with LRMs and just played as many matches as I could in each hour.

If they do another one like that, I'm building a set of matching ECM Ravens and just cycling through them. It shouldn't take more than three to have one always open. I wasn't able to bring myself to do it last time, but it's obviously required to stay on the leaderboards.

Well in two weeks everyone gets their stats reset, so have fun padding them until achievements come online!

I'm playing the same mechs I played before the bug. I like fire support mechs.simple. all of the weapons are broken in one way or another. ACs do ten times the damace they should SRM sre so powerfull lots of folks see no reason to use anything else. beam weapons have a visible flight time (It's amazing that you can watch a lightspeed weapon vove...) B10Xs are so slow and sloppily spread that are useless beyons SRM range. (And might I point of that it is among the most expensive weapons in the game) light mech can maneuver in ways that would have them grindin armour off on the ground in the TT or reality for that matter. Why bother to bring a 3l in and play teammate when you can hotdog destroy atlas' and rack up huge winnings?
