Will incoming ballistics be detected on the radar display?

Define ballistics... if you mean bullets I really doubt it. In fact I'm not sure if any weapon attack shows up on the radar itself, but if it's like any other mechwarrior you will get some flashing lights and a voice telling you when the enemy has a missile lock on you.
