A. Things that cost MC are to expensive

B. People forget what Beta means

C. In an instant world of instant gratification, having to learn something complicated just isn't working for the masses. Throw in instant loss and you have a recipe for cry babies to request nerfs, buffs, and all things non-canon.

D. This is a genre game created in the 80's and it confuses anyone younger then 30 completely

E. This is a First person Shooter played like piloting a walking tank, not like a regular first person shooter.

F. PGI listens to the cry babies about nerfs and buffs. Thankfully they haven't listened to stupid suggestions like mounting turrets or non-canon weapons, yet.

G. This isn't MekTeks MW4 with all their crazy weapons in and their great mech selection.

H. Two Game modes that are truly confused, no Solaris Arena, and total lack confidence in PGI to give us game modes that the majority will play.

I. This game no matter what you do with it will only appeal to a small niche group of people for long term play. So the people who buy new titles or jump from game to game likely will not invest that much in MWO. People who play WOW and invest all their time in it will not play this or stick with it if they try. you can't make MWO a WOW level game.

J. The biggest single reason MWO has issues, NO WARHAMMER! or any unseen mechs and no Official Answer of if they will try to do them anytime. (Likely because they want to avoid alienating anyone who wants them)

K. Way to many "Armchair Developers" who think they know better than the guys building it from scratch.

I've heard this a few times, but what other sort of developer is there? Two-Fisted Action Hero Developers?

A: Completely subjective. Vote with your wallet at its best.

B: True. But hardly a problem.

C: Half true half false. Some of the calls for buffs and nerfs are called for.

D: False. I'm 22 and I get this completely. Some it might, that goes for every universe though at ALL age groups. Meaning not just those younger than 30.

E: True...but...again, hardly a problem.

F: See point C.

G: The point of this is...what? This game will never be content complete.

H: How? Both share you go in, kill everyone, win. The 1st you can cap their base and win. The second you can cap places and get more points and win. Not confusing at all.

I: Disagree with the first sentence, agreed with the rest of it. But this also isn't WOW. Apples and Oranges.

J: Two words: Legal Issues.

Hey I'm 25 and so are the eight people I play with. GUESS WE'RE REALLY MATURE.

But in seriousness the biggest problem is probably difficulty. Think about the new arm lock option: it's there for new players, because there are only a few situations (I'm thinking of my CN9-A zombie build) where locking the reticle is advantageous (a good player can always make use of that extra maneouvrability to fire their arm weapons). But it took me a really long time to "get" the reticle. There's also the difference in sensitivity between the mouse and actually turning your legs: whereas in most FPS strafing and turning are an important part of keeping on target, maxing your laser damage in MWO usually requires you NOT to turn.

And there's like a billion other examples.

Anyway, it's a tough game, and personally that's why I like it, but I'm sure it's a huge burden to the devs because not everyone likes difficult games. Kids these days, amirite?

Thats the point, bow down to the mindless kiddies that can't play fair or actually play period. Make it easy for 4 years olds then all will be happy. NOT

"D. This is a genre game created in the 80's and it confuses anyone younger then 30 completely"

The source material is garbage (both the tabletop game and the awful books) but PGI seems to be aware of that and have been steering the game well clear of it's shameful origins. This game takes after Mechwarrior 3, 4, and living legends far more than it takes after the stupid tabletop game.
