I'm done! I no longer can stand these whiney little trolls that all have their pet issues with the stinking game. Everyone I know loves this game...both in my unit and IRL. I completely enjoy almost all aspects of the game!

LRM's - They are not unbalanced! Find cover! Don't charge a swarm of missles! You wouldn't do that in CoD or ARMA so why the heck do you think you should be able to do that here??

ECM - Yup, they are invisible to radar...that sucks. Learn to use your eyes to target. If you brought missiles then they win that tactical battle. ECM is NOT god mode so stop crying about it. Yes it could use a few small tweaks but overall is balanced.

Raven-3L - Ya I hate it. That being said I love fighting a pilot in one because I know it will be a challenge.

Piranha has done an amazing job in a VERY short amount of time. Considering the development cycle for A-List (or even indie) games they are breaking their backs and fingers to give us this work in progress.

TL:DR Quit whining. If you hate the game then go cry quietly to yourself and stop trying to kill the buzz for everyone else!

Its the nature of the internet.

People complain because they are compelled to. Whereas if everything was nice and smooth nobody would say anything.

Overall I think people really do like this game, they're just concerned with certain aspects of it, which is fine.

OP. People are allowed to express their opinion weather you like it or not. get over it.

I do actually charge the hell out of guys with RPG, or calling in Predator/Hellstorm missiles in MW/Black Ops, but I also have infinite lives (until score cap) and next to no respawn timer. I recognize it is not realistic, but it is often funny. Some people cannot deal with dying in a positive way, and even I get pissed off and log out or rant for a while when I get sandblasted to death a few matches in a row. They've also mixed the 'infinite respawn' gamer crowed in with the traditional 'Mechwarrior is serious business so don't die' crowd, and that had predicable results.

These forums are also an outlet for every entitled/whiny/abused/personally-victimized-by-PGI-conspiracies/everything else person in the game. If PGI is telling the truth, we are a small portion of the player base. As is usual for forum goers, that portion is very vocal, very opinionated, very stubborn, often rude, and very impatient.

Opinions are fine...I just expressed mine and I value yours. I am sick and tired of seeing post after post that basically reads "If you still play this your are a moron, pay attention to me 'cause I type on the internets and my mummy and daddy don't love me" If you hate the game then just stop playing!

If you don't compaling about something that's unbalanced, then it very well may remain unbalanced.

Also, this is in Beta.

That means that it's part of our job as players to let the developers know when something is not working well.

LRMs were highly unbalanced.
The Ravens were harder to hit than other lights sue to their hit legs being too small
ECMs ARE goign to be be looked at some more by PGI

Over all, the game is getting better and better, but you're not helping anyone, players OR PGI by not complaining when you see something that can get better.

For one, if a problem is clearly unbalnaced (eg ECM) then when the game is easier to get, and not in beta anylonger, and has more players, they'd be less likely to play for a long time if the game was unbalanced. Unbalanced games have less methods for winning, and end up getting boring.

So yeah, sometimes the complainings can get boring, but think about it a bit more.

BETA If you say every thing is just fine with problems, then you're doing the same as ignoring a fire next to a house..."
The house isn't burning, so it's not a problem right?"

Complaining is HELPING the developers. Kissing their *** isn't. Granted sometimes people get over the top, but by and large, the complains are vastly more useful to the game and it's future than the "thanky thanky you're so nice! " To them

Friend, there is a BIG difference between whining and complaining and providing constructive, reasoned feedback.

Who are you more likely to listen to, a man screaming in your face that you parked too close to him at the mall or a man asking you to move over a few feet so he can get his door open?

As I said, I understand the irritation some people that can't speak decently, but that's fine, you can ignore then, just like the developers and most people here will as well.

The people that have to scream to get attention are the equivalent of crying babies in a restaurant.

All the same, don't throw out the useful, honest complaints, with the crap. It's always been like this on the internet AFAIK, and it always will be, that's because most people are stupid.

Once you just learn to ignore the fools, then you're be happier.
