Does anyone know who nubnub really is? Is he an extra devoted person who signed up to screw with the comm, or a tool the devs ( or a dev ) is using to screw with us, or give hints about things? If this has been confirmed I'd like to know, I haven't been keeping up with the breaking news on Nubnub

Cheers, folks

Yes, I can say that there is a 98% chance that Nubnub is one of the Developers or at the very least someone working very closely with the Dev team. Prosparity Park is the only person I know of who knows exactly who Nubnub is.

While we are on the subject of weird things going on here look at this random page: http://mwomercs.com/heartbeat
I found this by accident by going through tech support.

Also, there were 2 new domain purchases within the last few months. Being: mechwarrioruniverse.com and mechwarrior.com

Note to comstar: I do have this post saved to my computer if you decide to edit it, I will re-post!

Edit: If you didn't know already here are the other domains owned by PGI that link to mwomercs.com
MWOCLANS.COM MWOJIHAD.COM MWOSOLARIS.COM MWODARKAGE.COM

Any word on how to get to the new version of the comstar terminal, Prosperity Park said that as of 5/30 the version is v2.0.28, but I'm stuck on 1.0.0. Any help would be appreciated.

I was wondering, how do I get to Comstar Terminal v2.0.28, because I am stuck on 1.0.0. I am talking about the terminal at static.mwomercs.com. Prosperity Park said his version was 2.0.28 as of 5/30. Can anyone help me get to this version?

I wasn't asking you (though help from you would be appriciated) I was asking people who might know about it, I am stuck on version 1.0.0, and I don't know why.

There is a 2% chance you are correct. Prosperity isn't the only one who knows who he is. I assure you, nubnub is no where near the PGI offices, and is very much a user

The default user, 51822, is the only person posting statistical data from the terminal...

What does that have to do with this? Can you explain?

From what I've seen him post he is either a developer or a very good slicer. If you provide evidence to the contrary I'll back down.

Just for fun. No visible purpose but for fun. Just what I think though.

Returns the current Unix epoc time. Could be for debug or a return value for their (timed based) scripts.

About the terminal; V1.0.0 does nothing of use but offer an install and some silly info like Paul's cupcakes and the odd cross reference to nubnub. Any values or files it appears you manipulate or add are stored as a temporary data file in your browser.

You can issue the "install" command from the v1.0.0 terminal. Unless you have an experimental flag set on a Chrome 11+ web browser (minimum specified by the app install manifest) you cannot install it.

My issue is the app install process crashes my browser even with the experimental flag set to allow the app to be installed.

After tracing all scripts, pages, and resources stated branching from static.mwomercs.com this is what I have:

How do you set an experimental flag? What flag is it?

Well I can't disclose all the information we have, since that would break some code of conduct rules and privacy rules. However, he does have two profiles: nubnub and nub nub. Nub nub was made only 3 days after the last login of the profile nubnub. Nubnub's last login was Apr. 23. On Apr. 26, nub nub was made. This was also the time when the entire friends system crashed, and I believe Kyle's explanation was that us users had abused/spammed the system and so changes were being made. Paul also recently stated he has no idea who nubnub is, nor does anyone else at PGI. The profile nub nub has also requested that his original profile be reinstated.

What does this all mean?

Nubnub is a user just like you and me. He collected statistics on the forums, just I have recently begun doing. He also went on a quest to friend every profile on the site. This eventually crashed the entire friends system and pissed of the developers, so they suspended his account indefinitely. Hence why his new profile, nub nub, has been staying very low-key and not causing problems for risk of a permanent ban. Both Prosperity and I know who he is (for the most part), but will not disclose this information for privacy's sake.

If you type "wget static.mwomercs.com" it pulls up an html document. That's the furthest I've gotten. I'm no programmer, but I saved it in notepad to tinker with later.

Here's the complete transcript. Can anyone help me out?

What Hawkeye 72 stated could explain why the original 'nubnub' profile number is cited in the Comstar Terminal that seems to be in development to provide the stats we were trying to track.
If so then it's a nice nod by the company to someone who was trying to do something nice but broke their stuff and now they are trying to give us the nice thing on their own accord.

I'm still curious what forum suite this is <.<
