Cannot say I am surprised - such a thing is a common sight in video games, quineg?
A bunch of people who find the most overpowered combination - power gamers whose aim is to abuse the system for a one-button kill. And when it get's fixed, you could think the world is about to end.
"omg my 'mech can't one button kill an enemy heavy 'mech, it is worthless now!"
And did you notice another thing? Good players do not complain. They adapt - I guess that is the difference between a ristar, and common stravag. Good players overcome, bad players come over to the forums and cry.
Same thing happened in D3 when the DH got fixed - a tsunami wave of people crying "omg, how am i supposed to play my not-broken DH now, without my 25 second invincibility?".
Just glancing at the forums, all I see is topics from "experts" stating that LRMs are totally worthless now (based on the fact that a 100 LRM salvo cannot kill an enemy heavy in one shot).
Apparently - they all know better than people who actually made thi game - judging by the osts, one can think there are a hundred people out there, who can rebalance the whole game in their head and get it right in one try.
Take a chill-pill guys. Try and play with the new toys, maybe actually work for your kills now, quiaff?
