Pugging gives you a lot of matches where all bar one mech from one side are destroyed facing a pack of mechs on the other side.

Your Options as the last man standing:
1) Die Fighting
2) Cap
3) Avoid death until the timer runs down and lose the match anyway

I propose a 4th Option:
Surrender.
Yes, yes, yes you've heard this before - wrong. This is how it should work:

1) The option only becomes available when there is one mech left on the losing side (call it Team A) and 4 or more on the winning side (Team B ).
2) Only the Team B 'commander' who has taken command of their side (through battlemap menu) has the option to offer surrender.
3) The last mech on Team A has 10 seconds to power down, thereby accepting the offer - if not the match continues. (Shutdown through overheating does not count).
4) If accepted TEAM B are awarded extra XP as honour XP.

Acceptable alternative ending? Thoughts?
