OP: You are not correct, my friend.

The boardgame was defined by rules - if one strays too far from those rules, then MWO becomes something else.
It's like saying - let's redesign the Peregrine Falcon, but give it compound eyes like a fly. It would starve to death.

This video is for entertainment purposes only, no rulebooks allowed. LOL I don't really want a 3rd person though either. But if it makes it easier for new people to learn the game then I'd be ok with them playing in a queue amongst themselves.

I really don't see why people get so frustrated about 3rd person. PGI have outlined the areas which typically have an impact on the overall game. If bringing 3rd person helps bring more people in, happy days. There was a big 3rd person community in MW4, and they played on their 3rd person servers and we played on our 1st person server. And everyone across the land was happy and content.. Oh wait, no they weren't, but welcome to computer gaming! :3

Fair enough, buddy.

My good lady is starting to play and it's taken quite a bit of coaching to explain the torso-twist mechanic, especially walking forward and looking sideways. 3rd person would illustrate that much better than I could explain, though I shudder at the thought of 150kph lights circle-strafing (as it would become to be known).

1 I don't get it!

2 Dude, wash your dishes up before you make videos next time! Gawd, how embarressed would your mum be if she saw this?

3 I couldn't figure out why the Peregrine Falcone would stave, clearly Han would just refuel it, eyes have nothing to do with it.....Then I felt really stupid.

EDIT: spelling...stupid remember.

I can't see how your chair is oriented to the computer, and this confuses me. This third person view is USELESS.

You should have seen my desk earlier today before I cleaned it.

Long story short, I got $6.70 when I returned all the empty beer cans at 10 cents each :(

Yes. Yes it does.

I have a distinct feeling that birds will be crawling all over this thread in the near future
