I'm a righty

Joystick in off-hand. Mouse in main-hand.

The mech setup of professionals.

Could probably even cut that keypad off, but I'd probably find a use for it for something or another.

I should learn to mouse in my left hand but I'd need to buy a left-handed mouse ;)

Oh me too. Left handed stick. I write right though! Why would use the stick in your ON hand? That's the one the needs precision, the mouse.

Lolwut? Aiming with the keys? Or aiming with your left hand? Extremely inconvenient either way, if you're not a lefty. It would be better to have two sticks and some additional buttons between them(Steel Battalion style) one for aiming and another one for movement control.

I'm a righty also and have a Logitech G700 so this might be good for a left joy stick.

LEFTY!!! Hells yeah. I'll have to fiddle around with my set up though. I've become really accustomed to using everything right-handed.

Since it has a monitor built in, does this mean that MWO will support multiple monitors so we can move things to different monitors?
Would be awesome to be able to turn on different cameras like a back camera, or move your Radar, chat and weapons load out to a different monitor.

I'm all for multi-monitor support! I run two right now and would absolutely put the cockpit view on my main display and move as many of the secodary hud elements to the 2nd monitor as possible.

Joystick + Mouse, s0n. It's the professional's setup. It's what ESDF is for FPS games.

Even better.... make it 3 seperate components that allow you to set it up as right or left handed.... would need a modular grip on the stick as well though, so probably a bad idea unless they can move that button....

Check the official announcements section I think this picture is a mirror image the stick is on the right.

I think that was Frostiken's point. To make it Awesome would be to make it left handed :P
But yes it is a mirror image. The concept is a righty version.

It looks like there is a black laptop style mouse controller opposite the joystick, anyone else notice that? This thing have mouse input too?

The unit is built in a modular manner. In otherwords, lefties you can switch the modular pieces as you see fit. Because it is modular there is no need to produce a left handed exclusive model of the product.

It would be better if the color wasn't so... dull.

might be better if it was charcoal grey or brushed gunmetal. ...even if it was black glossy, I would be interested since my computer, mouse, monitor, and keyboard are all black and grey.

Otherwise it would look like an outdated joystick sat on the wrong desk.

I think it would be cool if it was modular, and the keypad, throttle, screen and joystick could be pieced together in any order.

Probably won't happen, but I think it would be kickass for our evil left-handed brethren.

If this were to happen, I think I may faint. I have 3 monitors, one proper 1080 one, and 2 smaller ones. would be awesome to have some info on these, like radar and weapon stats.

I would love it if they could add a throttle module or a big hand-size attachment for the tiny throttle. Need data HOTAS!
