To whom it concern

I understand that the developers are going to introduce other weapons in time,[/color]
& so you should :-)

Missiles type below that last for a period of time or what ever is decided
Flares
smoke
area beacons
?? electrical override which shuts down enemy mechs ??
Scout tracking which has ??1000?? range to relay outfit setup direction (that is all no lock on capability)
Blinder (shot at cockpit for smoke screen effect)

So non-lethal missiles

Just of the top of me head

I thinking about other weapons to suggest

Till then

Kind regards

Actually smoke rounds to provide egress cover would be useful.

Yes.

Smoke should obscure all vision through the cloud. When inside the cloud you basicly cant see further than 90m but can still target things provided a team mate has vision and isnt obscured by ECM with LOS to the target.

Flares should disrupt Thermal AND Night vision as they slowly parachute down, but on dark maps it should make regular vision better.

Yikes! More particle effects to kill FPS! (Was in a game where there was a large numbers of missiles in flight all at once and even on my i7/560ti setup took a huge performance hit.)

Seriously, as the game code matures and we see "acceptable" FPS on average systems then we can look forward to these kinds of mechanics such as these (btw, this should be in the Suggestion forum, "Search" is your friend).

I was expecting this to be the first reply

...kind of disappointed, actually.

On topic: Now that we have consumables, I imagine we will see various types of non-lethal artillery and air strikes. That would keep people from having to sacrifice killing power for a bunch of defensive equipment.

A type of beacon or radar deploys from the sky would be nice.
