See when someone doesn't like the game and posts about it; the negative person's reasons are torn asunder and rendered meaningless. But when someone just states they love the game, they don't really require a lot of reasoning? Why the double standard...this is as bad as QQ-ing only inverted. kinda like -QQ...
note: or rather, why is a negative viewpoint scrutinized more so than a "positive" view point? whats the angle to letting one side off scott-free?

types are kept away from each other, no mixing matching 1st and 3rd, i'll be happy.
but i feel most of the rage comes from the fact and, lets face it
the game is still very young, and the team is not as big as most would think.
yes things are broke but when only 2-3 people working on the issue at
a time things will take longer to get right.
as a legendary founder I've most defo got my moneys worth so far
and the patches just keep getting better,
what more can we ask... oh sh** i shouldn't of said that

The double standard comes from the fact that enjoyment doesn't have the burden of proof that a gripe does.
You see numerous threads like the one praising TD, where they take a specific feature/content item, that is similar to the specific rant threads.
This thread is the positive version of the ragequit that doesn't give a reason, just a middle finger.

What i imagined last night after a nice session was the return of collisions in conjunction with dfa.. with the best so far, awesome , video.. showing collisions, dfa, and melee.
I too, love the game...
What will make it epic for a long time is putting a huge amount of effort into the above features

There wasn't enough hate in this thread to be acceptable on this forum so i felt the need to bump it up.
I love this game too. It is the greatest Mechwarrior game ever! Always happy to see some positivity on here.

Fair enough.
Things I like, in no particular order:
1. Constructing mechs with different tactics in mind and then trying to make them work on the battlefield.
2. A good variety of mechs and weapons to choose from that seem to be mostly faithful to their Battletech roots (same goes for the mech selection).
3. The challenge of trying to control your mech effectively with regards to cover, enemy and friendly proximity, weapon ranges etc.. Much more complex than the usual FPS experience.
4. Good overall community. Fairly mature bunch and most are pretty helpful and friendly.
5. Nice and frequent content updates. A new mech every month? That's awesome. I played Darkfall for years and although it was an interesting game, man the dev team was so slow to act on anything or add any content, they make these guys look positively prolific.
6. Bright future with the clan stuff on the horizon.
7. Has never crashed on me.
8. Good graphics that run well.
9. Character progression is off to a good start in my opinion.
I could go on but that's a lot of the big things off the top of my head.
See ya on the battlefields and enjoy blowing me up,
Chris

Does he do Threads? If so we can get him some on the side if you know what I mean, wink wink.
Had the best 2 pug matches to date just last night. Both on the Large Maps now that I think of it. Solid team work, informative, while limited, text chat mixed with everyone on the Team seeming to have had the same general thought. Let ME help US Win.
Good solid fun. Really good solid fun with Beers!

I always try to stay away from rage posts. This tedious, boring, grindy game is so much fun. I mean it! I have not had so much fun in a game for years. I am confident the game will be really awesome once it is released.
