AC/10 by a mile.
Even tho i rarely take it but UAC/5 or AC/20 instead.
I find the LBX very lackluster - the spread is simply to high.

The AC/10 is great paid with a large laser since they have the same range. LBX-10 is great paid with SRM 6. the SRM6 strips armor and the LBX-10 tares apart internals

AC/10 is the lifeblood of half my Garage. Anything I put an AC/10 and 2-3 MLAS, everything else is just icing on the cake
Some say the Gauss is better. My crimson shoulder with the AC/10 intact disagrees.

i tried using duel lbx10's
and just used duel ac10's and they are soo much better, the damage kills everything.

The LBX10 will become useful once they introduce slug ammo for it but I doubt they'll do that any time soon as they're too busy making 3rdPV which they promised never to make.

i do love the 3rd person view, from the old games so can't wait for that.

well if you put two lbxs it in an atlas d, and you cant put in 2 regular ac/10s, it gets a close range ac/20 with a much better fire rate, of course, like someone else said, the spread is a little high even for a brawler in some cases

I tend to find it depends on the chassis, and what I want to do with my loadout. Generally, I'd say when in doubt, go AC/10. Pinpoint damage is usually better than the spread, and it can effectively snipe better despite technically having lower range.
However, as a counterexample, I give you my Centurion CN9-D. With a 300 XL engine and double SRM tubes (Streaks or SMR 6 depending on my mood), I usually want to get right up on top of whoever my target is, be it Atlas or Raven, and shotgun them. In that case, the damage to the internals is pretty relevant (remember, the splash and spread from my missiles is being applied all over their armor), and the spread is negligible. Sometimes it's even a bonus, since it means your AC is reliable even against fast 'Mechs. And I'm in a 'Mech that's durable enough and fast enough to reliably--and safely--close on most targets. Also since it's a medium chassis, the extra ton you save is a surprisingly huge deal.
But that's one of the few cases where I'd recommend considering an LB 10-X. You need to be able to meet several of the above criteria to make it worthwhile, I feel.
