Huh, interesting, although it makes some sense. I wonder if AMD should just take the old Pitcairn 7870 and re-release it as the 7850XT (that way Tahiti LE is the only 7870).

The Funny thing is that I just read an article where Nvidia is now pushing the 650Ti-Boost to fill the bracket opposing the 7850.

Seems like their is a bit of shuffling of products from both camps at that price & performance bracket.

Hmm, strange times indeed. It is good to see Nvidia attempting to address their sorely lacking lower brackets though. I'd like to see more good budget cards from them.
