Hello everyone,
I've done quite the google search on this and still haven't found a solid answer as to what's going on, but what's the current situation with jump jets? Do you only need one jump jet to have function jump jet capability? Is there an actual reason to use more than one crit slot worth of jump jets?
I'm very confused by this. Trying to figure out how I'd like to configure my Spider, but don't want to remove the 'jets if it's going to gimp myself in the jump capability.
Thanks!

More JJ, more distance available to jump. For example: 2JJ = 20m, 3=30m, 4=40m and so on..
*values are just for explanation, JJs are different but the system is the same.
Ninjaedit:
Go to the mechlab, select your mech and look at the part where you can see your firepower, HE, speed, tonnage and all this stuff. If you're able to use JJs, the last bar shows you your capable distance

You can drop to 3 JJ on the spider and still be able to get on top of or over most obstacles in the game.

Ahhh, okay. I hadn't noticed that before. So there is indeed a benefit to having more than one jump jet. Thanks guys!
