Not too mention that dragons are traditionally loners that prefer ambush tactics, which is the opposite of the Dragon 'mech which works best in groups slowly wearing down targets.
the only thing that makes the Dragon slightly deserving of its name is the fact that it has a "snout"
I think I would rather call it a Dog: barking at you from far away then running when you get close
FYI the Dragon is one of my favorite 'mechs
Except it was Named the Dragon because it was the first Heavy Mech Home Grown from House KUrita which has the Dragon as it's symbol... I know it's details but they do matter in history.. Real and Fiction.

Aegis, in all sincerity, what would I do some days on these forums without your razor wit. Thank you for that.

Second in eastern Asian cultures, dragons normally were considered water/ocean deities. They were also more sinuous and serpent like versus the lizard based western dragons.
I just wish the Dragon mech had three fingers (Japanese) instead of four (chinese) *sigh*

Isn't having four fingers on a mech considered a bad omen in the DC? Odd.

The Thor doesn't carry mjolnir or spew thunder/lightning.
The cicada doesn't make the weird noises for hours on end.
The catapult isn't an ancient siege engine.

The Hellspawn is hardly demonic
The Cauldron born is aptly named, particularly the MW4 version
and The Madcat is not the pet of Dr. Claw

Not all Dragons breath fire. Just saying man.
Considering DCMS are Asian in Origin, Dragons are a creature of elegance and intelligence. A symbol of might.

Depends on how you used it.. I would arm it with Thunderbolt missiles, JJs and a Med Laser and run around behind things then jump over them and shoot that TB mis into their heads or rear armor from point blank range:)

Hmmm - Potential long-range firepower: 2 PPCs = 20 damage.
Potential short-range firepower: 1 SRM6, 2 M-Lasers, 2 S-Lasers, 2 MGs = 32 damage.
I'd say the ENEMY is screwed either way.
