Is there any key that switches Throttle Decay on/off -during- the game?

Nope. There should be one I think, so you don't have to go Esc > Options > Check/uncheck > Done > Back to game.

Well then I strongly recommend to implement such a key.

In open country I prefer the old "No Throttle Decay" mode (like a motorboat) while in built up or restricted terrain the "Throttle Decay" mode (gas pedal) really comes into its own.

I can´t be the only one thinking so.

And considering that maneuvering is the key element of any tactical game, giving the players options on how to handle it cannot be a bad idea.

I select throttle decay on as default so that I can use the number pad to set the speed in open country but once i'm engaged I can still use throttle decay to manuver around.
