Oh so you're psychic and can detect when my jimmies are rustled now?

Sorry bro, you're small time, I'm merely baffled at your ignorance. I've been trolled by people far more skillfully than you.

Hmm he could be trolling, I've known a few epic level trolls but hes got that "passionate about this" vibe about him it's hard for even the best trolls to maintain that for this amount of time, so I doubt he is trolling..

He's heard about this newfangled 'trolling' that the youngins do and he's trying to emulate them. It's endearing even.

Penguins at it too. He's a bit better at this, I must admit.

I agree with vassago rain someone please shoot me in the back with dual AC 20's.

Besides they promised us it would be first person only, and that coolant flush would not be in the game.

Trusting PGI to keep their word is like trusting a lion not to bite you, remember how well that worked out for Roy?

You mean when doing something like this?

You'd rather go BACK to STO? Holy crap you must be hating this game more than anything to return to that mismanaged, power creeping, asian grindfest with starships. I miss my starships but damn Cryptic sucked all the love I had for that IP out of me with that game.

I'll say this much about the 'silent majority' talk:

If you're willing to ignore something like 90+% of forum goers holding a certain opinion, what purpose do the forums even serve? Because 'feedback' clearly isn't one of them.

What really boggled my mind was that, they said that the forumites are not the people that they are catering to, decided to implement something hugely unpopular on the forums, but then ask the forumites how should it be implemented....

What?

As I've asked in other threads, how does PGI know what the Silent Majority want? Aren't they silent?

It's funny how I keep running into fellow STO vets in this forum.

Ketamine in the food supply was my guess. That big boy purred when I scratched his cheeks and the handlers about tripped over themselves with more "food". Tigers purr pretty loud!

The point is that this 1st person cockpit only pillar of MWO design is something that made me and many founders want to pay money for this game in the first place, now they've changed their minds, we feel lied to, abused, cheated, and betrayed, and no longer trust anything the developers say because their word obviously means nothing, if you enjoy being lied to or don't think you have been so be it, but I and many others feel we have been lied to and are not happy.

be careful. I pointed this out in another thread, and the whole thread immediately ended up in Jettisoned. Could be coincidence, but my tinfoil hat started buzzing...

The vibration from the pur is a scary reminder of just how big they really are.

Well for more tinfoil-hattery, I'd have to reiterate if people are leaving this game to go back to STO, this game is doomed and the sky will most certainly fall. Actually some MWO players from the Sad Pandas fleet already wrote this game off and did go back. too bad too because they are top notch pvp'ers.

Also, as to the quote found from Russ(?) about the first person thing, even there they are contradicting themselves, and that whoever is trying to point that out does in fact have a point. They do say "not a pillar of design" then 2 lines later say they will "look into it in the far future". That they contradict themselves in their own statements makes them look pretty bargain bin to me.

If 7 months or so is the far future for these guys, then I really don't think even PGI plans on the game being around long.

But that could just be my tinfoil hat buzzing too.

Then those 2 queues were never viable to begin with. Simple enough really...

Unlike you, I've been around the block. Third person is superior, and will be forced even on those of us who don't want it.

Post up an in game video that shows this superiority please. Oh wait...

Is STO really that bad? I remember when Cyrptic sold off CoH and started working on STO and Champions. I thought STO had potential. It looks interesting. Weren't they supposed to be working on a Stargate MMO?

Actually several players have posted video from previous mechwarrior titles demonstrating the superiority of third person. That is the best we can do until we see how badly PGI borks it.

Not to derail further, so I'll make this quick, CoH was the best thing Cryptic ever made, and being sold off was the best thing to happen to CoH despite its recent shutdown. i can see a stargate mmo working quite well for cryptic, but they ruined Trek for thousands of trekkies and trekkers, and they continue to not develop pvp in that game past it's initial place holding release except for some balance passes, which they fail at.
