If you do not like the fact that UACs jam, switch to AC/5s. It seems like you want your personal weapons buffed. Sorry to tell you, but the chance to jam if going for the extra shot is what balances the UAC/5 over the AC/5.
New Uac Mechanics. No Jamming.

interesting idea, though I like the jamming mechanic as is. its an extremely powerful weapon system as is. keeping it unpredictable keeps people from relying on it too much, nor exploiting it.
I'd be more inclined to go along with "no jamming ever if the weapon is allowed its full cycle time" and jams 1 in 4 when you're "overclocking" it. That way, its still a tough weapon, its becomes predictable and useful, and for those who want to risk peaking its damage out, there's actually a risk.
Whoops! these guys got there's in while I was typing.
+1 to both. What they said.

It's ok to have a jam mechanic, but not as the default behavior when you hold the trigger.
UAC/5 should fire at the normal rate, and only double fire when pressed again during the recycle. This way, the risk/reward of jam/double fire will truly be optional.

"If" you go for the second shot? With my ping I can't reliably prevent the gun from doubleshooting. I'd be totally fine with it if doubleshot/jam was optional instead of the default behavior, so I could actually choose to risk the jam when it was needed.

No, I do not wish any buffs to UAC5, it's already way better than regular AC5. It's just like the previous poster said, sometimes it doubleshoots accidentally because of my relatively large ping.
That doubleklick for double shot seems also a lot better than how it works now.
Unpredictability promotes luck and luck should have very little impact in pvp games.
