PGI, have you made a small error here in the description in your patch notes ?

Quote

- Air Strike Accuracy

- Decreases the radius of the targeted area by 20%.

- Artillery Accuracy
- Decreases the length of the bombardment zone by 20%

Should Air strike in fact reduce the length and Artillery reduce the radius ?

Lorcis

PS I would like to see that 40,000 c bill cost for artillery and airstrike reduced somewhat, it seems to be expensive, a large proportion of the cbills we might earn in a game. Prohibitive to saving up for anything else. same for the cool shot 9x9.
Thanks

Also seems to be overpriced.

Big smoke cloud, and you can realistically only land hits on stationary targets. Or mechs inside a cap point i guess....have not tested this yet.

But for what you get....20k c-bills is a better price.

Artillery/Air Strikes are bad. You could make them free and it wouldn't be worth the module slot.

The damage is very low and the radius is so small it's impossible to hit anything but a stationary mech. You could try to lead them but all they have to do is stop.

plus the shelling and bombs have no AOE. I saw an atlas (that was sniping with his gauss of all things) receive arty shells all around him like just 5m away and his armor didnt flash (take damage).

I did see a bomb from an air strike hit an awesome though... talk about taking one in the chest. Was hilarious.
