So did everyone just forget the Marik/Laio offensive after the failure of Victor to keep Joshua's clone a secret: you know, the one where Thomas and Sun Tzu actually took back everything lost in the 4th succession war plus more?
Talk about handing the Davions their *****...I'm a Davion fan boy myself (at least lore wise, FFR Forever in this game!) but that was about as sound a thrashing as any house had ever taken.

I mentioned it here in an earlier post when talking about Katrina seceding the Lyran half of the FedCom alliance. I think the beating they take in 3145 though is about equal too, if not greater than that though. My opinion of course.

Not even close to everything, let alone more than that...
Face it, with Stackpole writing WoW books, you lost the white shield that protected you from all bad and got the beating you deserved for so long.
... what did you expect for pictures like this, huh?

Every House has had a "turn in the barrel" at some point in Battletech lore. House Liao lost a $#!+load of planets after Prince Davion offered them up as a wedding present to his wife before he invaded. House Steiner, Kurita, and the Rasalhague Republic lost a lot of planets to the Clan invasion. House Marik goes downhill during the Blake Jihad before it gets utterly destroyed.
Has House Davion ever suffered on a massive scale? I don't mean like "well in this one book on this one Davion planet a bunch of people died." I mean has House Davion EVER suffered a major loss on a grand scale?

So that's one for Davions...
And how many times for us?
What about the time when THEY got an army down on our capital... which we had to evacuate and bombard from orbit, then leave it for good.
Or when Hassek came in and allowed WoB-ies to bombard the Celestial Palace on Sian.
...
Go figure how much sympathy they really deseve for being "almost" beaten.
