Also, the 3rd person view of your destroyed mech shows what appears to be slagged mech breakdancing slowly. That is, the mech on the ground is spinning with the 3rd person camera.

Yeah, two times I have died and was unable to leave the view of my dead mech and spectate any teammates.

had this one too yesterday once
edit: what i recall it looked like freeze sort of map was frozen on my last position before i died with team positions etc but u were able to hear them completly somewhere elsewhere

I have also experienced this, in about 25% of my deaths.
I'm still absolutely thrilled about the battle where I spawned at the start of the battle in Spectate mode, spectating myself. That was existential.

It happens from time to time... did not notice it getting more often with this last patch, thank goodness.
