I wanna know if you'll be able to reset it back to the original colors after you change it without it costing you MC to actually unlock those colors.

While I can't say for certain, the stock coloring of a mech is generally in the... I guess you could call it 'backup' spot for each color selection when you first open camo spec. I'd imagine you'll still be able to revert to the colors, but won't own them. Just as I assume that, if we're able to change the camo pattern, the Default pattern (that any mech can revert to for free) will be the Hero pattern, rather than the basic pattern used for the chassis.

seems like if your buying the mech for MC you should get the mechs colors along with it

I hope the Hero skins themselves can be recolored, rather than just allowing us to stick any old skin on. I'd love to have a green Flame/Fang.

you will not be able to reskin the heroes. So the pattern stays, you will just be able to recolor the current skin on it.

And for crying out loud people, do learn to read and comprehend what PGI is saying.....

The actual answer, in regards to painting the founder mechs was "you can already paint the stripe".

I know you meant painting the whole mech, but there might be some issues there since it's not a skin that was meant to be repainted- note that all of the closed beta mech default skins were all removed and replaced with the new base pattern we see today
