I just had a couple of suggestions for the development of the Mechlab.

My first suggestion is that while the aesthetics of the lab as it is now are pleasing enough, there is no sense of scale. I mean you can see when the camera zooms out or in to the size of the mech you choose, and the audible engine noise differences are a nice touch, but you need to have techs walking around performing tasks, show them running diagnostics or loading ammo crates, something that makes it more of a living area. This would just add to the immersion of the game when not in a match in my opinion.

My second suggestion would be to retool how you select your mechs. I love how the home page is with 4 selected mechs, nothing needs to change there (other than the annoying fact that often after matches all selected mechs are gone and you have to re-select them). What i am suggesting is instead of the area at the bottom where you scroll through your owned mechs, make a "Garage" page of some sort that has the same pictures shown now but arranged into pages for each weight class, or something along those lines. My biggest gripe about the current system is the inability to move the mechs i have bought into different slots. This keeps me from grouping them how i want unless i plan out exactly what to buy and when, and that detracts from the game a bit. A garage page would allow you to organize your mechs as you choose, either by weight, class, or build. This would allow the players to group their mechs intelligently for the type of match they are expecting.

As always keep up the good work, and thank you for making a game that a true fan of this franchise is glad they can play. :D

The fluff (animations and stuff) would be nice, but at some point a much better way of going through the mechs owned is going to be necessary.

I've got 4 founder mechs + 7 other mechs I've bought (maxed out the Hunchback and Centurion) and now I'm moving onto heavies and maybe assaults down the road. Not sure how many mech bays I can own, but if there's no limit to how many can be bought, and new mechs coming out every month or two with a few variants each...it will add up fast.

For now scrolling along a long bar is OK because I don't have many mechs, but once I've got dozens I can see the existing mechlab driving me absolutely nuts....

....also it would be nice to be able to rename variants at any time rather than just when you buy them.

I agree on all points. As it stands I have 18 mechs and I find the organization of them to be just awful to sort through. I would like to be able to group my bays by chassis (to get to my catapults I would enter the same bay)

A couple Id like to add:

Being able to view and sort through one's spare parts.

Some manner of showing off one's mech(s) (without the hassle of screenshots) publically, whether just the external paint job and/or the entire detailed build.
